Argo Villa Bed and Breakfast is located in the picturesque village of St Dogmaels and offers accommodation for up to 6 persons. All three rooms, the king-size, the twin bedded and the double have modern en-suites.

The king size and the twin rooms have views of the river Teifi and are very large, light and airy. If requested, a cot or additional single divan bed to accommodate a child or extra person may be available.

A choice of traditional, vegetarian, vegan, special dietary or a fish based breakfast can be provided. We do not provide evening meals but four local pubs and the village's superb licensed fish and chip shop serve food.

Argo Villa is a non-smoking establishment and has a 'Quiet' policy. Consequently, there are no television sets in guest rooms. There are digital radios provided in the King and Twin rooms. A selection of books are available for reading during your stay if you so wish.

Argo Villa is 150 metres from the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, a landing pontoon and the slipway onto the river Teifi. There is a boat park nearby. Poppit Sands, a clean 'blue flag' sandy beach with dunes, some rocks and a café, is 1 mile away on the same road. In the other direction Cardigan town is 1 mile distant.

We are a good base for walking, bird watching, cycling, fishing, canoeing, boating, beach activity (sometimes the surf is excellent), golf as well as for examining the many geological features in the area.

The locality has many places of historic, flora & fauna interest. There is a nearby wildlife marsh reserve with new visitor centre. The sea, cliffs, tidal estuary and marsh are home to dolphin, seals, otter, duck & waders, chough, raven, buzzard and other rarer raptors.

Local buses serve towns and beaches along the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path as well as to Cardigan town.
